What Blogging Strategies Are Dead?

Genuine blogging is alive and well.

Why?

Humans want humans to be truly helpful. Being truly helpful drives quality traffic and blogging income.

This is why I remind the sleeping minds of the world – along with the dingbats who have been professing the death of blogging for over a decade – that blogging is as important as ever.

However, various blogging strategies became extinct long ago but blogging dinosaurs never figured it out. Some current day blogging strategies became obsolete with the advent of AI not because AI is powerful but because lazy, or mindless, or lifeless blogging is AI blogging. By this, I mean that a computer program can easily replicate lazy, mindless, lifeless bloggers.

But hasn’t this long been the case through a wide range of niches and professions?

I got downsized from my security guard job a decade and a half ago because a computer and camera did the basic, easy task formerly completed by a human; if your job is auto-pilot of course a robot or AI will take over the job. You’re a human being with an unlimited mind; you can easily overcome mindlessness and the love of ease.

I felt quite comfortable staring at a container to type numbers and letters into a computer which spit out a receipt for the truckers. But the world decided such a mindless task seemed best completed by a computer program combined with a camera.

However, dozens of human guards still man posts at that shipping terminal because the human mind and its intuition, compassion, empathy, creativity and imagination are fully required to complete these tasks, all of which a mindless, lifeless computer program can never replicate.

You cannot write a program to mimic the intuition because it is limitless, abstract and life. Computer programs are limited, by their very definition, in form or tangible, by their existence, and lifeless, as a matter of fact.

But the more lifeless, mindless aspects of humanity are definitely on the way out….and in truth, for the better.

We are here to wake up our minds, not to put them to sleep, my young blogging padawans.

Address your blogging strategy now.

Do you see any of these extinct tactics?

Own and replace with:

  • publishing long form content
  • engaging in genuine blogger outreach
  • bonding with readers
  • opening multiple income channels

Trash failing strategies.

Replace with successful techniques.

1: Link Sharing Threads

Link sharing threads are dead – and have been – because inorganic, manipulative traffic does not typically:

  • morph into quality traffic
  • become loyal followers
  • become customers and/or clients

If people reading your blog show up for the sole reason of getting a link share from you….you are in big trouble.

Ensure that blog visitors deeply desire your solutions. Publish detailed, targeted content for quality traffic and blogging profits.

You want people who need your:

  • blog posts
  • online courses
  • eBooks

….to visit your blog….not people who want a retweet, Facebook Share or LinkedIn Share.

For example, when the 5, 10 or 20 people who visit your blog daily arrive only because they want a social share or comment from you this also means that none want your blog content and business services. How can you drive quality traffic, gain loyal followers and attract customers and clients when none of your blog visitors want your content, products and services?

Put sharing threads in your rear view mirror.

Publish long-form, targeted content and build strong friendships with pro bloggers from your niche to organically attract quality traffic, customers and clients to you, through your blog.

2: Generic 3rd Person Writing

I trashed a few recent comments from legit bloggers who either used AI to populate the comment field or who wrote generic, 3rd person comments.

Each comment seized words from my blog post and recycled the words to parrot back to me what I had already wrote.

Generic blogging is dead mainly because of AI but also because it’s been knocking on death’s door for a long time.

Human readers want:

  • compassion
  • empathy
  • imagination
  • creativity
  • personality
  • humor
  • proof that AI did not recycle words to populate your blog posts

Write with passion.

Blog with flair.

Run a genuine blog.

Add personal stories to your posts.

Be transparent.

Blog from your heart.

Be human.

Blog like a human….not a robot.

Usually, it takes lots of writing practice to reach a genuine, authentic blogging frame of mind.

So…..practice writing your ass off.

3: Winging It

I have carefully observed many struggling bloggers at wit’s end.

What common thread joins these individuals?

Almost every one wings it.

Why would you wildly experiment when professional bloggers offer you proven, smart blogging systems to follow to succeed?

Winging it blogging-wise has always been dead. But most bloggers are slowly beginning to realize now that blogging is a serious skill best learned from professional bloggers who guide the way.

For example, I have observed 100’s of well-meaning, beginner bloggers and struggling veteran bloggers who have absolutely no idea:

  • what they’re doing
  • what real blogging involves
  • what they’re doing is guaranteed to fail, 100% of the time, no matter how long and hard they work

There is nothing as mystifying as seeing someone who has no clue in hell what they’re doing claiming that they do know what they’re doing. Slightly less mystifying but still weird as hell is the struggling blogger who:

  • asks for your successful guidance
  • debates the validity of your successful guidance
  • throws your successful guidance to the side, preferring to wing it for the next few years to “figure it out on their own”

Hey; knock yourself out. Use your free will as you wish.

But you’re a blogging dinosaur doomed to blogging extinction because winging it is and has always been dead.

Save yourself headaches, stress, struggle and failure.

Learn only from pro bloggers how to succeed.

Follow only their guidance very, very closely.

Slowly but surely succeed.

Free yourself by doing only what works and by trashing all blogging strategies that do not work.

Conclusion

Put these dying – and dead – blogging strategies to rest.

Wake up your mind.

Have fun helping people.

Build strong bonds.

Accelerate your blogging success and freedom.

    Hi Ryan,

Glad to be back here after a long gap of almost two years. I know blog commenting has diminished a lot with the increase in the number of visual media contents. But I can’t leave your blog without leaving few words as a comment. Keep going and keep up the good work.
