Did you know that organic traffic and blogging income wait beyond your fears?

Yeah…..YOU!

Yeah…..YOUR fears.

Your fears block success. Never believe that externals determine success or failure. Everything in the world is a mental process. The mental process unfolds in the mind. Some blame the world for their ills. But the secret of peace and blogging success is this: you are doing it to yourself.

Of course, people do it to themselves unconsciously. Imagine a robot. It knows not what it does. Robots following programming. Humans follow unconscious ego programming until you come across a blog post like the one you will read today on Blogging From Paradise Dot Com.

Resistance to Freedom and Success

Why do you resist doing what pro bloggers do? Following their lead triggers fears. Emulating their example nudges you outside of your comfort zone. That’s scary. That’s unpleasant. Scared, most bloggers scramble back inside of their comfort zone to inevitable struggles, failure and eventually quitting.

Feeling discomfort feels unpleasant at first; especially if you decided to make feeling comfortable habitual throughout your experience.

Being a full time digital nomad for 14 years, I made a series of sometimes highly uncomfortable but freeing decisions by leaving worldly habits and customs behind. Everyone pretty much makes an idol of their rituals as some form of eternal comfort. Reality slaps ’em upside the head, sooner than later. The world changes constantly. Your rituals change with the world. Your peace of mind dissolves as the rituals and world change. You can hustle back to comfort rituals but in depression, misery, failure and fear. Does that sound fun? Is that your life goal?

Peace, freedom and worldly blogging success sit outside of comfort on the other side of your intimately personal fears. Everything that you want sits beyond your comfort.

What Happens in Comfort?

What happens inside of your comfort zone?

Imagine a fear prison completely of your making.

Sure it feels comfortable to not leave the comfort zone. But the prison walls of fear keep you depressed, bound and scared. Depressed, bound, scared bloggers fail perpetually until one decides to quit. Another blogging career bites the dust all because the blogger never figured out how success awaits one outside of their comfort zone.

Follow these tips below to leave your blogging comfort zone.

Experience sugary sweet blogging success.

Know Why and Make it Freeing

Why do you blog?

Tie the reasons to:

  • fun
  • the love of serving others

to tap into freedom. Love freedom more than you fear facing fear. Have fun with helping people more than you crave the illusory cocoon of comfort. Seek money as a tiny driver. Enjoy helping people as your main driver.

For example, I write and publish this post deep into my blogging career amid some discomfort. Why would I blog after such a long time and feeling mild discomfort in the body and mind? I love helping you. I enjoy being free to circle the globe. Blogging feels fun to me.

Each high energy emotion goads me past low energy fears, rocketing me outside of my blogging comfort zone. Or on this morning, guiding me gently outside of my comfort zone.

Love blogging more than you fear facing discomfort. You need something strong to overcome your weakness. Makes sense, right?

Love beats fear every time. But the decision sits in your mind. You choose love over fear. You choose service over self-service. You choose the joy of helping others with content versus living in survival mode.

The decision occurs within your mind not in the outside world. Money and popularity are terrible drivers because each external never lasts. Bloggers get rich and famous after blogging for a long time and much work. What happens before the time and work elements really kick in? Nobody knows these bloggers; none make a penny. Love, fun and service need to be your invisible, internal guides to consistently do uncomfortable things leading to increased blogging success.

Decide to Face Fear

Make a blanket decision to face fear.

Follow through on your intent.

Do you fear looking at metrics? Ease into the fear. Glance at metrics. Feel the fears of time wasted, time lost and being a miserable failure arise in the mind. Face, feel and forgive (look past) these fears to wade outside of your comfort zone.

How it works: your mind is here, fear in the mind wraps you in a cocoon of comfort and discomfort (and organic traffic and blogging income) rests beyond this illusory, fear-built, comfort zone. Ease into fear to leave your comfort zone. Edge into fear to experience greater peace of mind and success.

Decide to face fear because peace and success are worth the temporarily uncomfortable investment.

Just do it, but mindfully.

Surround Yourself with Successful Bloggers

Successful bloggers think, feel and act like pros well before going pro.

Each knows how to leave their comfort zone frequently; otherwise, they would not be full-time bloggers.

Learn from them. Succeed through osmosis. Leave your blogging comfort zone by feasting on their influence.

Pay close attention to their example. See pros all around you doing fun, freeing and sometimes highly uncomfortable things. Move up in blogging circles. Take the ladder to success. Observe successful examples in action.

New bloggers struggle in part because few choose successful mentors to emulate. Surrounding yourself with struggling bloggers only teaches you how to fail in comfort and complaints. You know exactly what I mean. Check out all the Google Grievances out there to see this concept in action.

High level pros influence your thoughts, feelings and actions if you network with these individuals. Learn from the best how to leave comfort behind to make way for increasing success.

Develop the Skill of Being Comfortable with Being Uncomfortable

Get comfortable with being uncomfortable.

Being disciplined means doing what you seem not accustomed to doing. Leaving your comfort zone precedes developing strong discipline.

Decide to gradually get comfortable with being uncomfortable. Never sprint from discomfort. Watch it. Observe it. Experience the feeling in mind. See your fears arise. Do not recoil wildly.

Be it offline or online, become comfortable with stepping into discomfort. Walk for 5 more minutes during cardio sessions. Turn the dial on the shower a little bit more to the “cold” setting on a chilly morning. Help the successful blogger even if helping yourself seems paramount. Drop the genuine blog comment even if it feels like an utter waste of time.

Do these things religiously.

Get comfortable with being uncomfortable.

Success awaits.

Conclusion

Familiarize yourself with this idea.

Everything happens within the mind.

Nothing really happens out there.

Leave your comfort zone by your intimately personal decision.

No one can do it for you but you.

Enjoy freeing blogging success beyond the confines of your self-imposed, mental prison.
