Do you want the honest version?

Or do you prefer to baby step your way to the answer?

We can start with the baby step approach.

Bloggers suffer from mental blocks. Everyone here knows what it’s like to sit down to write a post but no ideas pop up in the mind.

The reason why is simple. Ideas come from your mind so fear rattling around in there blocks the ideas.

Once you understand how the fear is in your mind and not out there in the world everything changes quite quickly.

Doesn’t that sound liberating? Doesn’t this sound like a great way to defeat the block? It is.

Now we need to step up to the major leagues.

I hate to break it to you guys but it is time for me to share the fully honest answer.

You may not like it.

But at least you’ll get it.

The Straight Answer

Every blogger chooses writers block because they value struggling over succeeding but on an unconscious level.

The voice of the ego in your mind will run away from this reasoning because it has conned you. The ego tells you that you’re working really hard and you deserve success on a conscious level. But you’re beginning to understand everything’s happening well outside of your awareness. Life unfolds unconsciously until you become mindful. Look around. Do you see what I mean? We all do things unconsciously at times or most of the time. You can tell based on how much we hurt ourselves by choosing wrong-minded thoughts.

Admittedly this is not a pleasant thing to admit to your ego. Nobody really believes that we value struggling to play the victim card over being peaceful and successful on a worldly level.

But that’s what’s happening.

Fabulous Excuse

Not writing blog posts gives you the best excuse to blame the world for your failures. You value that on a much deeper level than you realize. You and I play the martyr role to the hilt here and there. We’re used to it. I mean this is exactly what the world does.

Governments victimize citizens even though each claims to be empowering people. Why do they use fear and punishment to empower? You can’t punish someone and empower them at the same time. Punishment is enslavement not empowerment because when you empower someone you make them free from your tendrils.

Please don’t take this as a political post but simply reasoning for why you think like a victim. The whole thing goes on all around you constantly. How many people do you know who perceive themselves as being fully empowered? Don’t bullshit me; you know the answer is about nil because almost everyone victimizes self to some political party, laws or even special relationships in their lives.

Ideas do not pop up in your mind because you prevent this from happening. You generate the mental block to fulfill your value system. It is sick if not insane but it is true.

The Miracle of Choosing Different Thoughts

The literal miracle of understanding this reality is defeating writers block instantly. You may even conquer it forever.

Valuing freedom over fear makes the difference. Valuing success over failure makes the difference. You have to do the value shift because you’re the one valuing victimization over empowerment.

I know that this post sounds very in your face of me.

But why is that?

I had to undergo this mental process to put writer’s block behind me.

I had to navigate the inner world to become increasingly free in this place designed to keep you bound.

Following practical steps to defeat this insidious foe makes sense but you won’t do it until you feel empowered.

As long as you believe that you’re victimized and value the state of mind you will never seek out what empowers you to defeat the dastardly inner for. This is why bloggers never meditate, brainstorm, sit with their writer’s block, practice writing 500-1000 words daily or do any practical thing to conquer the inner turmoil. You act based on specific values and avoid taking action based on different values.

Hang with Pro Bloggers

Surround yourself with experienced bloggers. Observe how each thinks. Look closely at their mindset. Notice how professionals take full responsibility for their blogging results.

Do what they do mentally to begin doing what they do practically on a level of form.

I only began turning out content consistently by doing the inner work. Before I looked within, no matter how hard I tried I just couldn’t get the ideas going. You cannot outfox your unconscious mind no matter how hard you try.

How Do You Practically Apply this Concept?

Look at yourself.

How often do you blame someone else – or something – for causing writer’s block?

Pinpoint the objects of blame.

These are your love of victimization.

You prefer to be imprisoned.

You value being the underdog.

Admit it; this is really the only practical step to follow to change values.

Owning your victim mentality impels you to change values.

Honor this simple solution. You thought yourself into it. Now it is time to choose once again. Be free. Be empowered. Select different thoughts the next time writer’s block arises. You can do it. You’re not mindless.

Nobody said this is a comfortable fix.

The concept is simple.

Changing values is messy.

Who wants to take full responsibility for their blogging career?

Few do.

Why is the failure rate sky high?

Few do the inner blogging work.

But that’s not you.

Choose once again.
