I like listing practical tips for bloggers to use.
But the blind struggle horribly to see.
The deaf cannot hear.
The mute cannot speak.
Blogging becomes an impossible situation to those paralyzed by fear.
Do you feel scared to fail? Do you feel terrified to succeed?
I feared both end games at times. Do you?
I know blogging seems exciting at first. But reality triggers your deepest fears. Blogging sounds easy. But gaining experience forces the blogging truth to dawn on you: this gig is not easy.
Blogging is not difficult. But blogging is uncomfortable.
What happens in uncomfortable moments? Logic goes away. Reason drops dead. Knowledge dissolves. Common sense vanishes. What about following these steps for publishing traffic driving comments? Would you follow each step closely if your house went into foreclosure? Would you confidently follow each step if the terror of having $5 USD to your name screamed at your awareness every 10 minutes?
Revisit the lead-in. Consider the hellish scenarios above.
Practical blogging tips become utterly worthless to the terrified mind. Fear blinds you, mutes you and makes it impossible to hear. Everyone understands until fear forces instant misunderstanding.
Following successful blogging advice for a few weeks only takes you only so far.
Following successful blogging advice consistently for 17 years takes you really far.
How do you quantum leap from a few weeks to 17 years?
Hug this truth: successful blogging is one part content creator and one part cheerleader.
You need to be your own cheerleader to hop scotch the fears surfacing often in your mind.
How It Works
Any blogger can write and publish a long form blog post from a calm frame of mind.
No blogger can write and publish a long form blog post from a frenzied frame of mind because mental disorder creates inner chaos. Chaotic minds dance from branch to branch like a manic monkey off its meds. You can’t get anything done for the next thing to do then the next thing to do then the next thing to do….and so on until you quit everything.
Cheer leading yourself to create content consistently despite fear objections triggered in the mind is a skill. Mastering this art requires patience. Egg yourself on. Goad yourself forward. Or you will quit fast.
Beginner Blogger Downer
Do you down yourself as a beginner blogger?
Can you pick yourself up while breaking yourself down?
New bloggers tear themselves down with agonizing self-doubts. I suffered through this stretch during my nascent blogging days. I could not even hear the voice of an inner cheerleader. I beat myself up consistently. I mustered up enough faith to write a 600 word post before scrambling back into my blogging cave, shying away from the general public. I failed to understand that quality blog traffic “was” a sliver of the general public.
Struggling terribly made me realize; there had to be a better way to blog.
I surrounded myself with a few blogging cheerleaders who saw potential in me. I spied a wee bit of potential in myself as a budding effect of their loving cause. More importantly, I discovered that I had to be my own content creator cheerleader for a long time to go full time. How could I expect someone to be my blogging cheerleader 24-7, 365? People have lives away from the online world. People have their own mental demons to overcome.
I had to find an unlimited inner driver to become prolific.
So do you.
Cheer Lead Yourself
If going pro were based on following simple blogging tips for a bit then being a full-time blogger would be easy.
Search page 1 of Google. Follow successful blogging tips. Cash in.
You and I are no fools. Nor are we blogging babes in the woods.
Cheer leaders create content consistently to eventually become successful.
Find your inner driver. What makes you feel alive? What makes you feel free? What feels fun? What turns you on? What lights you up?
Motivation Is Not Enough
Motivating yourself with externals is not enough because going against something causes friction. Overcoming resistance feels demotivating sooner than later.
Intent is limitless because it comes from within; this is why feeling inspired makes you unstoppable. No resistance arises from internals because invisible love – which literally knows no bounds – fuels intrinsic drivers.
Cheer leading yourself from within inspires you to write blog posts and offsite content no matter what. Having no money cannot stop you. Does nobody read your blog? Who cares? That cannot stop you either. Each external loses all of its power in front of unlimited inspiration.
Conclusion
Find your inner cheer leader.
Creating content is not enough.
Highly successful bloggers become unstoppable because their unlimited inspiration comes from within.
