Introduction
Blogging from Paradise Location: Jimbaran, Bali
I was dumb, sick and broke many years ago. I hated life. Or I was apathetic. Either way life sucked.
This character is a far cry from the island hopping, timer taming, cobra viewing (added this one to my resume last week), monkey feeding, globe trotting, full time income earning fool I am today.
I am penning these words from Bali, the Island of the Gods because I learned the art of how to make money through blogging.
A funny shift occurred a while back; a shift that may just turn your life around, too. I was introduced to this internet thingee through getting the ax. I lost my security guard job in good old New Jersey. My wife Kelli told me that folks were making money online. One thing led to another and….I struggled like hell for 5 years online. This is no overnight success story…..BUT….that initial shift occurred 7 years ago, when I got fired, because I saw a possibility. I saw an opportunity. I ran with it, even though I dropped the baton through my blogging butterfingers about 5,986 times along the way.
The 2nd Shift
Another shift occurred after I had already established a full time income earning blog. I was getting paid. Kind of. But I knew something was missing. All of this changed on the day of THE shift; the day I trashed 3400 posts from my old blog which was also the day when Blogging from Paradise was born…….
