Yes.
End the debate.
We spent one month in Doha. Car game? Tight.
Dubai is epic.
But in terms of sheer volume, London is #1.
On only our block I spotted a:
- $6.5 million Koenigsegg ONE:1 (The former fastest car in the world)
- $3 million Bugatti Chiron (One of the fastest cars in the world)
- Lamborghini Urus
- McLaren
Most people live lifetimes without seeing any one of these cars. I spotted all parked below the apartment in just one week.
Wandering for a few neighborhoods revealed 100’s upon 100’s of super cars, luxury rides and even a few more ultra rare hyper cars.
I wanted to share some photos of the ridiculous car scene from the Supercar Capital of the World.
Fastest Cars in the World
One of the fastest cars in the world was delivered to someone who lives in this neighborhood recently.
The $3 million Bugatti Chiron generates nearly 1500 HP.
Gear heads descended upon the Chiron like vultures pouncing on a wildebeest carcass once word got out.
Of course, I had a bird’s eye view the whole time. The owner literally lives across the street from where we’re house sitting.
He pulls out with the delicacy of a brain surgeon operating….or father handling his newborn infant for the first time.
I don’t blame him.
If my car cost 3 million clams I’d probably only drive it at 2 AM.
Bugatti Chiron
I filmed two short videos of the Chiron from the front steps of the apartment.
Bugatti Chiron Super Sport Plus McLaren Plus Lamborghini Urus
Koenigsegg
This former fastest car on earth situated itself across from the apartment recently.
I’d deem it the sexiest – and most expensive – car I’ve seen in London.
Also….it is the loudest!!!
Listen here to the video I filmed of the Koenigsegg bellowing as it barreled out of the neighborhood.
Ford GT
Porsche GT3
McLaren
I filmed a short video of the incredibly sexy McLaren pictured above.
Check it out here:
Lamborghini
Bentley
Rolls Royce
Ferrari
BMW
Mercedes
As one sees above, London is basically like if Tony Stark and Bruce Wayne got into a prosperity pissing match.
Perhaps some good, old-fashioned one-ups-man-ship is good for the soul.
I became tinkled pink at my alignment; earlier this week the former fastest car on earth sat across the street from the apartment. A few days later one of the newest fastest cars on earth sat in virtually the same spot.
The $480 billion Qatar Investment Authority sovereign wealth fund fuels the purchase of at least some of these machines. The Qatari don’t exactly save it for a rainy day, ya know?
Keep an eye out for more super car photos and videos in London on Blogging From Paradise.
