Do You Read the Blogging Room?

I belong to a series of social media groups for bloggers on Facebook and LinkedIn.

I post detailed, targeted blogging tips once daily to most groups.

Why?

I read the blogging room.

A few members of these groups Like and comment on each update. Some tell me that they only visit these groups to follow my content.

But most do not seem interested in creating content-assets which work for you around the clock passively to give you freedom. Most only self-promote their business.

Since I carefully read the blogging room I would never:

  • attempt to convince these blogging masses to cease self-promoting and to begin publishing content
  • publish a high volume of blogging tips to these groups dominated by self-promoters

I am not right. They are not wrong. They are not right. I am not wrong.

I spend a little time in these spots daily because I read the blogging room.

Where I do spend a helluva lot more time daily? I give the lion’s share of my time to:

  • creating content for resonant followers
  • promoting blog posts for resonant followers

For example, I pay close attention to my social media groups. Building groups organically from Day #1 drew resonant group members, high engagement rates and blog traffic through all communities I created, run and moderate.

Since I read the blogging room I spend more time where my message feels resonant with most group members.

Ditto for reading the room here on Blogging From Paradise; you enjoy my content so I will keep publishing it for you.

How About Yourself?

Do you read the blogging room?

Or do you try to force a square peg into a round hole?

I observe 100’s of bloggers use social media ineffectively because few read the blogging room. Bloggers litter groups, comment fields and inboxes with blind pitches obviously generated by someone who did not pay attention to the person or people who became recipients of their message.

On an amusingly daily basis, specialists pitch me their link building services. None read the room because doing even a modest level of research reveals how Blogging From Paradise received backlinks from 80,000 plus sources, some being the most respected blogs on earth in their niches.

For example, Forbes, Entrepreneur, Neil Patel Dot Com and Pro Blogger point links to Blogging From Paradise.

I do not require backlinks lobbed my way via strangers, said backlinks originating from low quality to no quality sources paling in comparison to the highest quality links pointing to my blog.

I hate to sound harsh but some need to be slapped in the face with the truth to begin reading the room. Otherwise, you will ignorantly waste years of time, running around like a headless chicken to barely scratch by.

One Example of Reading the Room

Some bloggers bemoan how their exposure seems pretty much nil.

Yet almost none drop genuine comments below this blog post.

If they did, these bloggers struggling to be seen would be seen via this high profile blog.

How could these bloggers make this realization?

Reading the Blogging From Paradise room reveals that:

  • I love receiving comments
  • I reward bloggers not asleep at the wheel with genuine comment exposure
  • our community enjoys engaging with each other

You have to be an independent thinker, with hunger and deep self-awareness to become a professional blogger. Heed this recurring theme of mine.

Reading the blogging room comes part and parcel with thinking for yourself, possessing desire-fire and being highly self-aware.

Instead of making the common, lame excuses that you missed my latest post and the short commenting window you will get your ass over here quickly by monitoring your inbox to see my latest post, read it and drop an authentic comment. Organic blog traffic will flow your way slowly but surely if you do this on a frequent basis.

If ya snooze, ya lose.

If you’re awake, you bake.

Or if you actually look, you cook.

Train your mind to spot human behavior. Pay exquisitely close attention to psychology. Note patterns. See where people resonate with your message. Spot where folks do not resonate with your message.

Reading the room goaded me to ramp up my publishing frequency here on Blogging From Paradise. Intuitively, now is the time to publish posts frequently. I will take my foot off of the blogging pedal when-if the time is appropriate but as of now, since I read the blogging room by seeing you gobbling up my blog posts I will happily write and publish posts on a frequent basis.

The At Times Difficult Step of Reading the Blogging Room

Fear sitting in your mind blinds you from reading the blogging room.

Fear in your mind blinds you from the:

  • fears of others
  • desires of others
  • behavior of others
  • psychology of others
  • patterns of others

Facing, feeling and releasing your fears is the only way to spot and observe the thought patterns of others.

Being less delicate…..until you personally decide to get your head out of your ass you will not see anything else.

Spotting, feeling and looking past your fear does not feel pleasant at times. But taking this uncomfortable step is the only way to actually become aware of the world around you.

Oh yeah; you cannot read the room if you never step into the room.

Legions of bloggers waiting terrified on the blogging sidelines for all to be perfect never really begin blogging. The successful blogging process begins when you notice and target resonant humans and help them with your content. Step 1: enter the room to begin to read it.

From there, reading the blogging room is a skill to develop through patient practice and personal experience. I can guide you with posts like the one you’re reading but you, dear blogger, have to do it, following my advice closely, to gain invaluable personal experience, which helps you develop the skill of reading the blogging room.

I know that you’re up to it.

Conclusion

Think calmly about the concept of facing your personal fears as the first step in really reading the blogging room.

Look closely at the world. You will largely see a fragmented collection of scared minds refusing to face fear and being clueless about the world. Being clueless about the world means having absolutely no idea how to read it which is why mindless mannequins masquerading as human beings litter my inboxes with 1000’s of blind, unintelligent, foolish pitches over the years.

As more of these robots face fears, mindlessness becomes an afterthought and they will begin to read the blogging room and publish targeted content in resonant spots which accelerates their success.
