My blog works for me because I worked on my blog to publish something truly helpful.

Think that one through.

People who want blogging tips follow this resource 24-7, 365.

Re-read the bold text.

Random strangers do not usually stumble across this blog. People who I manipulated do not come across this blog because I do not take that tact.

I use no FOMO-based strategies mired in scarcity to migrate folks to Blogging From Paradise.

I never hold a gun to anybody’s head with fear-based hacks.

People who visit want to visit. Blogging From Paradise draws hungry bloggers to it consistently.

Look at your inbox. How many online entrepreneurs enjoy this seeming luxury? Not many. Most spam and waste years of their lives.

Make no mistake about it. I worked my ass off to get this point. I still work like the dickens to scale.

But it is not about me or my blog.

Blogging intelligently yields these nectar-sweet benefits for anyone who publishes detailed, targeted content consistently.

A specific person seeks out blogs.

These individuals make your life easier.

Each has been pre-approved, in a way.

People who want your blog content are the people who show up.

Isn’t that far better than chasing strangers like a headless chicken?

Doesn’t this beat bending over backwards and sideways just to get a cheap click?

In the blogging game, we call this organic traffic. Or you can call it quality traffic.

My point is this: building your blog into a resource sends people to your blog who seek out, value, trust the resource and use it to improve their lives.

Sounds fulfilling, doesn’t it?

Why Is Blogging Different from Social Media?

Blogging attracts a different person than social media.

Social media users tend to distract themselves with images.

Think of dreaded scroll disease. Folks look at the main stream for hours sometimes. Nothing really happens. Most need something to pass the time. Some engage in fiery debates. Others follow gossip. Yet others see what friends and fam have been up to before going down a distracting rabbit hole. Click an advertisement. Follow comments. Scan the news. 4 hours later……you shut off your phone to prevent yourself from hopping onto the app again.

Be honest with yourself. How often do you scroll mindlessly? I rarely scroll like a robot these days. But I did numb myself with distractions on X, Facebook and YouTube for a bit. I admit it.

Reddit? It’s a-ight. People fall into a Reddit vortex though. Users spend hours reading posts, processing information then hopping to the next similar thread.

I cannot frame this as being outright negative. People searching for info is A-OK. But people on Reddit are not acquiring information on your blog, are they?

That is not good for you.

People need to be on your blog for organic traffic and blogging income to manifest.

Who Does Blogging Help?

Blogging is helpful because you teach people who:

– want to be taught
– desire to change their lives for the better
– open up to honest feedback and correction

versus chasing strangers who do not want your offer or trust you.

Blog Readers

1: Want to be taught

Blog readers want to be taught.

Imagine someone who searches for a term on Google.

Google users want to know how to do something. All of us Google stuff to figure out how to solve a problem. We want to be taught. That’s why we use Google.

Blog readers want to be taught. Some find blogs through Google. Others bookmark blogs for regular referencing. Others find blogs through social media.

How does this benefit you as a blogger?

People who want to learn are motivated to return.

Think about it; being motivated to figure out something glues you to a blog. I spend some serious time on blogs learning how to meet some end.

Motivated learners lower your bounce rate. Lowering your blog bounce rate increases Google traffic.

Forget Google for a moment.

People who stick around to learn drive referral traffic and referral business.

Blogging From Paradise readers spread the word for me passively. Publishing practical content to guide ’em influences these folks to stick around, learn and drive referrals for me.

2: Desire to change their lives for the better

Blog readers do not half-ass it.

Drawing committed readers makes blogging a helluva lot easier for you.

I vividly recall my pre-blogging days. People I came across needed some serious convincing to give me their attention span for those short weeks…or was it months?

Why?

I feared committing to blogging. Organically, people feared committing to whatever I offered business-wise.

Blogs attract hungry dudes and dudettes who do what it takes to solve their problems with your content.

That sounds like a win to me. No convincing. No manipulating. No forcing, cajoling, straining or pushing people to stick around your blog.

Committed readers co-create a peaceful experience with you.

3: Open up to honest feedback and correction

Willing learners who commit to bettering their lives nudge their ego to the side.

This crowd fields genuine feedback and opens up to correction.

Have you ever tried correcting a closed-minded person? I bet it did not go too well.

Ditto for anyone who feels attacked the split second you offer kind feedback.

Blogs attract people who do uncomfortable things to improve their lives.

Why Would You Blog?

Look closely at the three people above.

Doesn’t it make sense to help people who want help?

Online business should be seamless not stressful.

Building a thorough blog magnetizes your online business to individuals who want your blog.

Other business-building tactics tend to manifest stress.

Earlier today I received a message from someone on LinkedIn. He pitched me his business via message. He pitched me his business via a comment. I showed zero interest in the opportunity; he came in cold. I eventually blocked his profile to cease communication. That puts him one step closer to being suspended or even banned from the network.

Chasing random strangers with manipulative, non-targeted methods is a stressful way to build business.

Blogging makes this strategy irrelevant.

You publish highly practical content to your blog.

Creating targeted content off-site funnels targeted readers to your blog.

Bonding with bloggers from your niche amplifies your reach.

Customers seek you out.

Being The Hunted feels better than being The Hunter.

Conclusion

People who want blog content show up to read and use blog posts.

Think of this individual as being a helluva lot more committed than the average person.

That’s who you want to help.

That’s who makes your life easier.
