Why should you blog?

Aspiring bloggers ask me this question frequently.

AI blogging seems to gain steam with each passing month.

Bloggers seem to ditch their domain and hosting for greener social media, vlogging and podcasting pastures.

Why would you blog with these developments?

Blogging is as important as ever.

I think right side up.

The world thinks upside down.

The world says blogging is dead. Ditch it.

I perceive blogging to be as relevant as it has ever been.

Blogging gives you freedom, peacefully.

You set the rules. You control the blog. Help people as you wish. Choose. Decide. Be at peace with running the show and being truly helpful.

Trendy channels give you rules, regulations and subjugation, chaotically.

Google, social media and AI blogging are the 3 headed monster online business shit storm with shifting algorithms, political narratives, heavy restrictions and controlling regulations.

I may drive Google traffic and help people through social media but know that I control nothing via these channels.

I maintain peace of mind by running everything through Blogging From Paradise Dot Com.

Consider these reasons why blogging is as important as ever.

1: Humans Want Human Help

People read content online these days and some think:

“Did a skilled, experienced, credible human write this or did something artificial spin it?”

Blogging is critical because this medium answers the prior question loud and clear.

Nobody leaves Blogging From Paradise doubting whether or not I wrote the words.

Consider this post.

Will AI ever be able to think, feel and write like that?

If it reaches that point we will all be dead and we will all be dead because of assholes who worshiped artificial intelligence instead of using their own real intelligence to help people.

Humans helping humans makes life:

  • fun
  • meaningful
  • fulfilling
  • loving

which is why blogging is as necessary as it has ever been.

Blogging is perhaps the ultimate medium for proving your humanity and serving others.

Publishing:

  • genuine blog posts
  • selfie videos
  • selfie pictures
  • podcasts

all points to a human being the seeming wizard behind the curtain.

2: Love Beats Fear

Every AI blogging argument is fear.

Consider:

  • the fear of being left behind in AI blogger dust
  • the fear of not believing that your mind is enough and needs an artificial complement to compete with other bloggers
  • the fear that all of a sudden that you cannot use your mind to brainstorm blog post ideas or create a rudimentary outline even though you did these things 1000’s of times before AI blogging became a thing

Blogging is important because running a genuine blog is an act of love, or service, based on:

  • mindfully spotting human problems
  • compassionately feeling the needs of others
  • generously creating detailed content to solve the problems of others, drawing on your personal experience
  • graciously listening to reader feedback

Peep each prior bullet point.

Love rules each activity.

People need love.

No one needs fear.

Blogging is love.

AI is the dis-ease of not enough.

3: Immunize Yourself to Google

Most bloggers still make the incredibly bizarre mistake of worshiping Google as the source of their success.

Why would you do that when you do not own Google or establish the algorithm?

Why not make your blog the source of your success? You own it and lay the ground rules.

Google seems to be more fickle with every update. The Big G bitch slaps AI-generated content but turns around and uses AI extensively.

Big money hedges its bets which makes running your own blog imperative.

Make your blog the source of your success.

Create content via:

  • guest blogging
  • genuine blog commenting
  • social media (without getting attached)

to drive quality traffic from each source to your blog.

Optimize posts for Google but frame it as an insignificant source of traffic because you know where your bread is buttered.

Your blog is the source of your success.

All roads lead to Blogging From Paradise.

4: Fly Around Social Media Turbulence

Having flown 150 plus times I am aware of how pilots tend to steer around turbulence unless on a tight schedule.

Running a blog lets you avoid the social media storms consistent with:

  • algorithm shifts
  • specific narratives
  • the love-hate affair with AI based on the profitability-problem ratio

When your blog is your success you do not need social media to succeed even though you may use it to help people.

Bloggers may use social media to drive quality traffic but its tempestuous nature breeds a “take it or leave it” approach from posturing bloggers.

5: Unlimited Branding Potential

Owning a blog offers you unlimited branding potential.

Free sites spawn users with zero branding potential.

Unless you own the site you are the product.

Being part of the product does not sound like a wise way to drive high quality traffic and online business.

Own a blog.

Create your blog/product with one-of-a-kind branding.

Run a dependable, exponentially increasing online business based on your:

  • ownership
  • content
  • clear, unique branding

6: Steer Clear of Artificial Intelligence Chaos

One common form of self-sabotage in the blogging world now is bloggers fluttering like moths to the flame of AI.

AI is chaos. That is why the people who support it back their claims with fear and division not love and unity.

Bloggers who use AI to rank on page one weep bitterly after Google wipes out their rankings for using AI. Chaos.

Bloggers who support it defend the use of something that does not even exist (artificial intelligence) to handle jobs that said bloggers did adequately before AI triggered their tender inner fears. Chaos.

Bloggers who use it sound like millions of other bloggers who use identical prompts then rail at other bloggers for being copycats. People look past AI blogs because readers have already seen similar or identical content again and again since millions use identical prompts. Chaos.

Blogging brings peace not chaos because it is:

  • truly helpful
  • generous
  • genuine
  • heart-driven
  • service-oriented

Feeling these emotions and engaging in these actions gives you that warm, fuzzy, relaxed feeling because love and mindful service bring peace.

Fear and mindlessness bring chaos.

7: Personalized Content Is at a Premium in a World of Generic Increased Output

Now and moving forward, people desire personalized content.

Readers want a person to share their:

  • intimate experience
  • cultivated skills
  • mastered expertise
  • genuine authority

via good old fashioned blog posts to receive trusted guidance.

AI blogging is generic, increased output.

Lacking mind, it is mindless, a collection of 1’s and 0’s. Being limited by its artificial nature, AI can only increase generic output via recycled words.

A human being programs some “thing” which spits generic output.

Blogging offers people highly personalized, unique, fresh guidance from someone who knows what you feel like.

Helpful content originates from the heart feeling what others feel….or have felt….or will feel in the future.

Blogging is critical because we need to tap into each other’s emotions to be genuinely helpful versus allowing programs to puke a heavy volume of generic output lacking empathy.

8: Generous Service Beats Egoic Self-Service

Do you want to have peace and be free?

Run a blog.

Generously serve a targeted reader via detailed content.

Slowly but surely you will thrive.

Do you want noise and disruption in your experience?

Try to take shortcuts to use people to get something from them. Kill them off in your mind after getting what you want or being ignored by them.

Daily, the Mindless Walking Dead fill my inbox:

  • asking me for business
  • attempting to manipulate me for business
  • chasing me for business with 1, 2, 3, 4 follow ups….or more

I look past them with a peaceful smile because it is no different than observing a department store worker moving a mannequin around a display. Would I be pissed off at the mannequin? Or would I realize that the worker (the ego) moves the mannequin with its efforts to peacefully observe the situation?

When you choose to be mindless you attempt to use others to get something from them and kill ’em off in your mind.  This is what the ego does; selfishly use others then obliterate ’em from the mind. Noise and disruption follow, of course. When you try to hurt others you wind up getting hurt in some way, shape or form.

Blog to step above the egoic, self-centered, noisy, disruptive, ineffective, inefficient plane of fear.

Now more than ever, building a blog into an asset that sends passive, organic traffic to your blog around the clock is a requirement if you want worldly freedom.

Conclusion

Make your own decision.

I laid out clear reasons why blogging is as important as ever from my experience.

But you choose whether or not to blog based on the information above combined with your intuition.

This is the key: Blogging as a powerful tool for genuine, human connection. It goes beyond blogging but blogging is a powerful tool to achieve exactly that. When a human connects with another human, AI can’t have the same impact (or at least not yet, I guess).

Well said Morris. Human to human connections still reign supreme.
