Meet Blogging From Paradise Dot Com.
I ran a backlink check for this blog a few weeks ago. 84,000 backlinks point to my blog. Dozens point to my blog from highly respected bloggers. Forbes, Entrepreneur, Neil Patel Dot Com and Smart Blogger are a few high quality backlinks that my blog scored.
Even better?
My blog never:
- asked
- begged
- cajoled
- manipulated
- chased
a random stranger via a blind as a bat pitch email.
My blog is the best backlink builder ever for me.
Your blog is the best backlink builder ever for you.
Blogs Build Passive Quality Backlinks
For poops and giggles, I ran a backlink check one month ago then ran another 2 weeks later.
2000 more backlinks pointed to Blogging From Paradise Dot Com during that 2 week stretch. I never asked anyone to drop any of those 2000 backlinks to my blog. My blog content passively inspired bloggers to direct all of those backlinks here.
Imagine running a blog that does pretty much all of the backend work for you.
Doesn’t that sound better than chasing disinterested strangers, only to have the cyber door shut in your face thousands of times?
My Backlink Experience
I pitched one successful blogger experimentally and another high level blogger guest blogging opportunities a long time ago. I only warm-pitched the latter because Seth Godin, Mark Cuban and Jack Canfield were fellow contributors. I needed something extra since I was not a celebrity like that trio.
Anyway, passively generating 84,000 backlinks with a plethora of high quality links jammed in there speaks to the power of publishing detailed, long form content.
But there is a catch.
What’s the Catch?
I’m glad that you asked.
Since 2014, I consistently published:
- high quality blog posts
- high quality content offsite
I also engaged in genuine blogger outreach.
Doing these things confidently for 11 years became a wise investment. Yet doing these things consistently for 11 years is the catch. This is the rub. Working patiently on your blog, creating offsite content and engaging in genuine blogger outreach for thousands of hours feels challenging sometimes. Most falter at the challenge. Most prefer to blindly pitch strangers for 12 hours daily. Most prefer to burn through social media handles like toilet paper at an “All You Can Eat Stuffed Cabbage Buffet.”
I never blame you for taking that route. I certainly do not condemn you for taking the highly difficult, time-wasting, incredibly ineffective, stressful, unsuccessful, time-consuming and work-consuming approach.
Go ahead. Knock yourself out.
Yet there is a better way.
I experienced the better way.
I worked on my blog for a long time. Yet that blog recently netted me 2000 backlinks passively in only a few weeks.
Either you actively do the work yourself and run out of time or you confidently build assets over a hefty length of time which eventually offer you freedom from time and location.
Blogging assets generate:
- quality backlinks
- organic traffic
- blogging income
while you sleep, vacation or do whatever.
Yet building your blogging assets to this stage requires you to display a deep sense of trust, a calm confidence and willingness to publish a heavy volume of truly helpful, targeted content over years.
Does the last word scare ya?
“Years?”
Here’s how I handle seemingly long timelines.
Do I plan to be around for years?
Yes.
Since I plan to be around for years I have two clear choices:
- think, feel and do stupid things that waste my time and confine me
- think, feel and do abundant things that free me from time and location
Do you really believe that most human beings invest long periods of time wisely?
Step away from the largely inefficient blogging herd.
Conclusion
Build your blog into a passive backlink-generating asset.
It will be the best backlink builder for you, bar none.
