“Nobody will read this post anyway.”
“Why bother with blogging? Everything I did with my blog failed in the past.”
“Why would anyone read my blog? Who am I? Just some stupid blogger, right?”
How often do these blogging condemnations dance around in your dome?
Are you tough on your blog?
I bet that you are.
We all are at times.
But you need to eventually realize that trusting this nasty internal dialog never serves you and certainly does not serve your readers either. Nobody wins when you shit on yourself and your blog.
Transparency alert; I still wrestle with these asinine ideas from time to time. I have blogged since 2008. That should tell you something.
If I engage in mental gymnastics from time to time then all bloggers engage in mental gymnastics here and there to cease condemning their blogs in order to get necessary work done.
Blogs Never Grow through Condemnation
Organic traffic and blogging income grow through constructive thinking and actions not condemning thinking and actions.
Build up to thrive.
Tear down to fail.
This is how the world works.
This is why you need to shift from condemnation to construction via an internal dialog shift.
My Thinking
I thought twice about writing this post.
Why?
The thought, “Who will read this post if I do not base it on a Google search term?”
The general condemnation hopping to and fro in my mind was, “Nobody will read it. Why bother writing it?”
After hearing the condemnation loud and clear, I sat quietly for a few moments. A few ideas popped up in my mind.
- Bloggers suffer the common problem of condemning their blogs.
- Bloggers need to read, understand and process posts like this one to admit to slapping on these common mental shackles.
- Bloggers need to follow the practical solution explained below to cease condemning their blogs.
- After the blogging condemnation subsides, opportunities for increased organic traffic and blogging income grow.
OK; bloggers turn to Blogging From Paradise Dot Com for helpful blogging tips. Based on following the above logic, this post is a helpful tip solving a common blogging problem.
But the question remains.
If I did not optimize the post for Google, how can bloggers find it?
I sat quietly, once again.
A few ideas were given to me.
Bloggers can find this post through:
- Blogging From Paradise Dot Com bookmarks on their preferred browser
- Feedly
- X
- Blue Sky
- any of the tens of thousands of backlinks pointing to Blogging From Paradise Dot Com
I bet that first bullet point item felt like a kick between your thoughts…..no?
Most bloggers severely lack:
- posture
- confidence
- clarity
By default, most people see themselves and their blogs as after thoughts. Who organically sees themselves as being unforgettable?
I had to do some serious mental clearing to stop condemning my blog – and myself – to the point where readers:
- bookmarked my blog
- checked it frequently for updates
Look closely at the second bullet point list item. I dropped a Feedly reference because most bloggers never acknowledge how many readers follow blogs through this simple RSS style feed.
So how did I cease mercilessly condemning my blog?
How do you stop cursing your blog?
How do you cease running down your blog?
Observe your mind in quiet.
That’s it.
But it is nothing less than that, either.
The Solution
Observing your mind in quiet looks like locking yourself in a room without distractions to watch your thoughts with intimate closeness.
Trash the phone. Deep six the laptop. OK; do not throw anything away. But place your phone and laptop outside of the door.
Follow these practical steps:
- Ask yourself, “How do I trash my blog?”
- Squirm a bit as you hear the negative, limiting, constrictive thoughts and feelings arise in the mind.
- Feel free to record the thoughts and feelings with pen and paper or just observe the ideas.
- Practice moving in a constructive, non-condemning direction with your thinking.
- Swiftly act on the constructive, non-condemning blogging guidance.
Believe it or not, this simple process works brilliantly.
You observe how often you shit on your blog. From there, you intuitively move in a constructive direction then get down to blogging work.
Getting down to blogging work may require some blogging research on your part.
For example, after hearing the, “Nobody will read my blog so why bother?” condemnation you constructively decide to increase your blog post publishing frequency. That’s all well and good…...but how?

After reading the post, following my guidance and finding your optimal publishing schedule, you sit down to research, write, edit and publish your next blog post to build creative momentum.
Simple Logically But Uncomfortable Emotionally
Logically, everyone can pretty much understand how to follow this simple process.
Emotionally, nobody enjoys listening to the despicable voice in their minds torpedoing any chances of succeeding, being happy and freeing yourself from time and location. Plus, that nasty voice emerges consistently as growth accelerates. Following this process is not a one shot deal. Honoring it patiently and persistently – especially as you slam into resistance – is necessary.
But the upside to your diligent effort is developing consistent peace of mind while experiencing increasing blogging success.
You get to feel good first and foremost. From there, helping readers with practical content and experiencing worldly blogging success is a sweet, fringe benefit of doing the inner work.
Conclusion
None of what I share here is rocket science.
Any blogger can follow the above strategy consistently.
So do it.
Stop condemning your blog.
Build it up constructively.
