Believe it or not, there is a way to get blog traffic fast.
But this indirect method gets lost on most bloggers.
Why?
Most bloggers use direct methods only. Bloggers paste blog post links to send users directly to their blogs. Imagine copying and pasting your latest post link to 20 spots. Bloggers typically do that because direct traffic is the only goal in mind.
I advise you to promote the living stuffing out of blog posts. Share links freely. Drive some direct traffic.
But you and I need a different strategy to work because social media algorithms favor not streams supplying a steady volume of link-only content (and alliteration perhaps). You know what I mean. Social sites develop some link-only blindness. Social media users become link-only blind too.
Billionaires do not become billionaires by consistently sending people away from sites owned by those very billionaires. Blog post links send people away from billionaire-owned sites. The social media algorithm prevents a mass user migration giving blog post links little precedence.
What is the different strategy to splice into link shares?
Talk to people.
Talk to people intrigued by your niche.
Be social.
Be as chatty as a blogging chipmunk.
