Two voices exist in your mind.

Love.

Fear.

Love is love. Love is fun. Love is free from time and location. Love feels playful. Love is calm. Love feels confident. Love is gentle posture.  Love trusts. Love feels relaxed.

Everything else that feels not like love is fear.

You and I learn fear in the world because the world is made in fear. Why is the news popular? Fear. Why do most minds obsess about the government? Fear. You know it. I know it.

Fear rules traditional business advice. Hell; fear rules all advice given in the world at a level of form.

Bloggers struggle because of fear in the mind. Being fearful makes fear-driven advice sound logical. Blogging from the fear of loss makes sense to the mind terrified to lose. All of this occurs on an unconscious level, mind you. Digging into emotions pushed out of awareness is not comfortable but necessary to be free of these reactive fears.

Doing things from fear usually brings failure. In rare cases, doing things from fear brings stressed worldly success.

Do you want to succeed peacefully?

Look closely at the fear which rules your blogging decisions. Face it. Feel it. Look past it. Proceed from a loving mind. Enjoy succeeding. Relax. Thrive peacefully.

You and I generally learn how to blog from the fear of loss. Bloggers often advise replying to people on social media within 24 hours or the bloggers fear that they will lose people who never visit their blog again. Dozens of reasons “prove” the legitimacy of the fear. But fear is fear.Even if you temporarily drive heavy traffic and steady income replying to everyone within 5 minutes to 24 hours, you will eventually burn out. Fear destroys. Fear behaves as a destructive emotion.

Another fear poisons the mind of bloggers. Bloggers fear whittling down to one niche for the fear of losing people.  Specializing scares poverty conscious people; will there be enough folks for building a dependable online business?

Covering two or more niches seems reasonable to the unconsciously frightened. But a jack of all trades masters none. Dividing attention and energy between multiple niches heavily divides your returns. Burnout follows. Frustration sets in as you observe single niche specialists succeeding gracefully with far less effort than yourself.

Follow these two success accelerators.

Thrive peacefully.

1: Stop literally trying to help everyone by staying up to 3 AM to respond to every email, social media request and blog comment.

Like clockwork, I come across common updates in my social media stream.

Well-meaning but scared bloggers feel overwhelmed by replying to everyone who reaches out to them. Some stay up until 2 AM to respond to everyone.

Why?

Fear masked as:

  • poverty
  • scarcity
  • shame
  • embarrassment
  • guilt

motivates the blogger to respond to dozens or hundreds of human beings.

If it were love motivating, the experience would feel:

  • fun
  • relaxing
  • peaceful
  • playful

Fear makes you the hero of your dream. Fear makes people you need to reply to (FEAR!) seemingly helpless victims dependent on you.

Something funny happened after I conquered my fears in this regard. I replied within 3, 4 or 5 days. Fully capable adults either found what they needed or exited stage left. Everything continued to grow with my blog but something even more neat happened: ambitious, grateful, hungry self-starters made a beeline for Blogging From Paradise Dot Com. Victim mentality types beat a hasty retreat.

Why?

Conquering this fear in my mind moved the symbols of fear out of my experience.

Symbols of love replaced the symbols of fear.

Wow.

We are that powerful.

Allow readers to find your answers through your content ***on their own***. They are big boys and big girls; they can do it. 😉

Reply:

  • when you can
  • to whomever it feels appropriate to engage

and let go of outcomes.

Invest most time creating targeted content to drive organic traffic.

2: Stop figuratively trying to help everyone by covering 2, 5 or 10 blogging niches.

Be a trusted specialist not an ignored generalist.

Do one thing to do it well.

Accelerate your success.

Where your attention and energy goes, grows stupendously over the long haul. Give it to one niche. The niche grows exponentially over the years as you work your content system.

Imagine a narrow laser beam concentrated in brilliant focus. You cannot miss it.

Multi-niche bloggers divide that laser beam into a dull, undetectable, scattershot light from a 360 degree perspective. No one sees it because when you attempt to appeal to everyone you attract no one.

Conclusion

Be a trusted specialist.

Surround yourself with confident, appreciative self-starters.

Accelerate your blogging success.
