Blogging from abundance lays the table for a full-time blogging career.

What does it mean to blog with an abundance mindset?

Blogging without a care in the world regarding statistics puts you on the abundant blogging path.

Dissolving psychological attachments to outcomes ain’t pretty. Facing, feeling and forgiving fears never feels like a picnic.

Newsflash; almost no one blogs abundantly all the time.

I certainly do not.

I blog from abundance sometimes.

Other times I blog from scarcity.

Blogging abundantly means helping confidently sans psychological attachment to outcomes. Who does that? Some bloggers maybe, some of the time.

But all of us psychologically attach to:

  • traffic stats
  • income metrics
  • popularity statistics
  • engagement numbers

here and there.

My mind is split. Sometimes I let go of outcomes to truly give without attachments to outcomes. Other times I hold back on giving because I want to get something out of the giving. Or I do not give freely today because I did not receive freely yesterday, last week or last month.

I admit it. I began to grow by admitting this mental flaw because you grow by admitting, facing then letting go of mental patterns holding you back.

Be gentle with yourself.

Rooting out scarcity beliefs is a careful process.

I delve deeper into the unconscious mind daily it seems. Scarcity thoughts arise for facing, feeling and releasing so I can blog from an abundant mindset.

Why Should You Blog from Abundance?

Basically guys, blogging from abundance lays a solid foundation for a professional blogging career.

We all want to at least get some traffic and income for our efforts to experience worldly blogging success. But that driver needs to be minimal to give freely of your time and talents.

You and I grow up in survival mode. People around us work jobs mainly to get money from the job to cover the survival basics. That’s fine. But building a blogging business demands a complete thought reversal. Pro bloggers confidently publish content for free – aka getting nothing in return in traffic and income terms – for a long time before slowly but surely driving organic traffic and blogging income.

Amateur bloggers eventually go pro by working for free until these rare few work for pay.

Herein lies the stout challenge. You want to get something for all work completed but blogging never works that way in the beginning. No beginner blogger drives traffic or income because it takes practice, patience and persistence before things come together. At this point, the world almost always quits because they lose motivation. People feel distressed about working for nothing. The world wants to get something in return for everything it gives.

Blogging with an abundance mentality means developing the:

  • clarity
  • confidence
  • trust
  • psychological detachment

required to consistently keep at publishing content and bonding with readers until organic traffic and blogging income arrives regularly.

What Happens on this Journey?

Fear happens.

I’ll offer you a real time example.

For the heck of it, I Googled “blogging tips” via Google Incognito a few moments before writing this post.

One Blogging From Paradise post popped up on page 1 position 3.

I logically worked something out in that moment.

My recent abundance mentality – publishing a heavy volume of practical content to this blog and social media – positioned my blog on page 1 of Google for a competitive niche keyword. I had to let go and just blog without considering traffic and income numbers for a few months to reach this point.

Feeling abundant influenced me to write and publish this post today.

But here’s the important aspect of my story.

As I patiently cultivated this abundance mentality, little pangs of fear sprung up in my mind again and again. I had to face, feel and look past each fear to proceed into a greater abundance mentality.

Point blank; this was not always a comfortable process. No one enjoys feeling fear. People do not love feeling loss, scarcity, poverty and any mental gunk all non-enlightened humans suffer from at times.

Face, feel and release fears in your mind to ease into an expansive abundance mentality.

The process feels icky sometimes but this is par for the blogging course.

Give Freely

Sear this idea onto your mind: give freely to gradually receive easily.

Help your ideal reader with detailed, practical, thorough blog posts. Publish at least one long form post weekly. Bump up that schedule if it feels abundant to you.

Create offsite content to sites like X, Facebook and Twitter on a daily basis. Share everything for your ideal reader.

Stick to these basics as fear triggers in the mind. Face, feel and forgive these fears. Ease into blogging abundance.

Get into the mentality of giving with no strings attached. The more you let go the more seamlessly that traffic and income flows to and through your blog.

Top Bloggers Think Like This

I once watched a 7 figure blogger speak at an internet marketing conference.

He gave freely for a while, blogging from abundance, well before he received freely.

The top blogger published 2-3 long form posts daily for one year. He made about $600 for that year but since he was not psychologically invested in income metrics, the dude consistently published 2-3 long form posts daily the following years.

He eventually earned 6 figures then 7 figures by blogging from abundance.

Pros get lost in the process not the outcomes.

Struggling bloggers get lost in the outcomes and resist engaging in the process.

Struggling Bloggers Think Scarcity

Struggling bloggers bemoan their lack of traffic and/or income. This suffering lot enter a vicious mental cycle of focusing on loss then refusing to give freely based on their fear of loss.

No one escapes this vicious inner game through work alone because the problem is in the mind.

If you mentally focus on loss you experience loss and resist doing the work necessary to become a full-time blogger.

Poverty conscious bloggers never develop the:

  • confidence
  • clarity
  • blogging presence

necessary to go pro because fear in the mind seems to prevent the process from coming into form.

How do you migrate from scarcity to abundance?

Face, feel and look past scarcity fears in the mind.

Proceed to blog just a little bit more abundantly.

Do the inner work to make blogging an abundant experience for you.

Conclusion

Organic traffic follows abundant bloggers.

Blogging income flows to abundant bloggers.

Think, feel and blog abundantly.

Conquer fears related to scarcity, poverty and loss.

Overcoming a scarcity mindset is not comfortable.

But defeat it you must to blog abundantly.
