How to Make Money Online if You’re Flat Broke (Amazon eBook)

Me and Yoda in Thailand. He is a dog of substantial means.

The problem: wanting to profit online but being flat broke.

I see a fair share of aspiring bloggers with big dreams. But LOF – Lack Of Funds – hamstrings ’em. Like a pig being hogtied, the dream dies through mental strangulation.

You want to run a profitable blog. You want to work from home. But that dagnabbed mental block of

“But I have no money?!”

holds you inside your seemingly safe, always comfortable, entirely miserable, non-growth zone.

I decided to write and self-publish:

How to Make Money Online if You’re Flat Broke

on Amazon because I want to help you knife through the money excuse like a searing hot machete through mushy mash potatoes. Or to normal people, like a hot knife through butter.

So many people believe you need to spend money to make money. But money just responds to your energy.

Outside of paying for a domain and hosting you can build a thriving blog using free methods of both creating content and promoting other bloggers – and yourself – so as that sweet cash flow increases you can re-invest.

That’s how it works. You may start with virtually nothing, yet as you do things online mainly for fun, with love, money will flow in. As the money flows in, you’re no longer flat broke. When you’re no longer broke, you invest more money in your blog, expanding your reach.

But the first step is learning how to earn profits if you have little cash to invest in your online business. Which is exactly why I wrote this eBook.

How Reading the eBook Benefits You

  • learn how to wriggle your way through the maze of money excuses that strangle your dreams
  • access a rich collection of free to use methods to help you make money online
  • learn how to think creativity so you can profit online through the power of helping others
  • deftly ding your silly money limiting beliefs in their stupid little heads
  • get practical tips for profiting online from a fun, loving space
  • figure out how to build a full time income through your online business
  • live your dreams by establishing mobile sources of income through your online real estate
  • release the straining, striving, coercing and manipulating often associated with trying to earn a full time income online
  • uncover the immense power of offering free content to people who actually want what you have to offer

Guys, I wrote this eBook – like all 124 of my Amazon eBooks – for you. And for me. Because I had fun writing this jammy but I also pinpointed this money-related baggage/limiting belief/lie/fear that tripped up masses of aspiring online entrepreneurs.

Cover Story

I snapped the cover image at a villa in Jimbaran, Bali.

Today in Thailand

Exotic birds sing melodious tunes in the trees.

Little lizards skirt to and fro on the walls, feasting on flies and bedeviling bees.

A light breeze lazily laps at my dome, cooling me off as I enjoy life in a sleepy little Thai village here in Chiang Mai, Thailand.

I am writing these words from a lovely home facing a national park. Nature abounds. Coconut trees, palm trees, and the odd papaya tree ensconce the house as the brilliant Southeast Asian sun kisses us, blue skies stretching as far as the eyes can see.

I helped co-create this life with the Universe, with you and, importantly, by NOT cowering to my LOF – Lack Of Funds – when I was a broke, fired security guard many years ago, starting this online journey.

If I said to myself:

“I want to make money online but I have no money to invest,”

I’d be working a 9-5 job in New Jersey now, carefully planning my 5 to 10 vacation days for the year.

Instead, I’m living the dream in the tropics, helping you circle the globe as a full time, pro, traveling blogger.

I jam-packed this helpful read with the very tips I’ve followed to live my dreams. To help you bootstrap your way to building a thriving blogging business.

  1. Hi Donna,

Awesome; we have fun here 😉

I’d be happy to tweet your reads. Send me your author page when the eBooks are published, OK? Please email to:

    Thanks a bunch.

PS….your domain name rocks…..which is a gardening joke, but really, it is awesome 🙂

  2. Donna Harvey Says:

    Hey Ryan,
What you say makes a lot of sense, BUT you also make me laugh. I love how you write! So, now I’m off to check out your e-books. Maybe sometime soon you can check out My E-books ~ Do you like Gardening/Landscaping?(small clue as to what they are about) I’ll let you know when they are Published. Thanks so much for the help.

  3. Hi Donna,

Yes you can and WOW is it easy.

When you are in your kdpselect backoffice, viewing one of your eBooks, you have a 1 click option taking you to the page where you can upload a PDF to set up the POD. Brilliant option. Need to seize it. Because I’ve a handful of books printed but nowhere near my 124 eBooks on the network.

I dig that idea; branding gold, helping folks by carrying your books around at events or even reading at restaurants or coffee shops. Yes I do that LOL. Create that buzz anywhere.

  4. Hi Ryan,

Now this looks like a cool way to get into the profits column 🙂

Can you also make an Amazon eBook a POD (print on demand) book, or is that a whole different ball game?

I have some clients looking to get a hard copy to shop around for publicity events, so this caught my eye.

  5. Once again, Ryan…. posting unsolicited pictures of me with my tongue out. Sigh…

The beauty about making money independently is that it sparks creativity. And that creativity helps you realize that you don’t always need to spend money in order to make money. Your book seems to touch on all the right points, and im happy you’re spreading the word nicely 🙂

My first real income – other than writing for ad revenue in 2007 – was made through Kindle books. This is perhaps the very best example of creating an income stream virtually out of thin air. Just some niche research and a lot of passion.

Thanks man, and P.S. it’s good to drop by here again. I had been massively busy while revamping things on my end, but trying to get back on track slowly.

    Stay warm dude!

  7. Hi Ravi,

Exactly bro. Writing eBooks is helpful and fun and yep, we open passive income streams through such channels.

As for debt it can help tons to create something useful and prosper through it to leave the financial anchor behind.

    You too buddy.

  8. Hi Jeannie,

Me too 😉 Ditto for every human 😉 Because money – even if we acquire what we perceive to be a bunch – is still something we see separate from ourselves. But when we feel connected to it and care not about the connection – no big deal – it flows in really nicely.

Thanks for reading and keep those sweet manifestations coming.

  9. Hi Cori,

    Good hashtag 😉

Appreciate you sharing. And if you tackle shorter eBooks – 6K words – it is like writing a pillar style post. Easy peasy. Or easier than creating a 40K word monster. Which would scare the hell out of me LOL.

Thank you for reading. Enjoy your weekend!

  10. Cori Ramos Says:

You are awesome Ryan! I wish I could turn out eBooks like you do – hashtag #goals :). You know I’m all about making money – or at least sharing the ideas (hehe) so you know I’m going to share this one!

Thanks for putting this together for us. Have a great day and weekend!

  11. Jeannie Hall Says:

So awesome, Ryan. The mindset thing about money is still a challenge for me, but I’m beginning to see a few manifestations showing me better things are coming. Can’t wait to read the eBook!

  12. Ravi Chahar Says:

    Hey Ryan,

Writing an ebook can be lucrative to many. But the skills required to allure your readers should be top notch.

People really need a guide to recover from their debt. This ebook will give them a way.
    Thanks for sharing with us.

    Enjoy the weekend.

  13. I left a thought.

    How about that Yoda?
