Guest posting helped bring me to gorgeous Rivas, Costa Rica.

The pain point: being disgusted with your blogging career. No real traffic. List growth = stagnant. Profits = pipe dream.

The pleasure point: experiencing the joy of increased blog traffic and income after learning how to land guest posts on authority blogs.

  2. Hi Ryan,
You are a great teacher. You summarized it with these following words; make friends and help bloggers. I still look at influencers as those who help others succeed. But my suggestion to most bloggers who are seeking to guest blog is to add value with your blog post and you will surely have a space to write on others blog. Thanks for your candid opinion.

    Charles

  3. Thanks Theo for the rocking comment! And congrats on landing 200 plus guest posts…..impressive!

  4. The fear of rejection has to be the biggest one on the list of fears Ryan and that’s true for most of us.

You know I have published more than 200 guest posts since February 2013 when I launched and got my first guest published on some reputable blog on the internet.

I haven’t looked back since then and I can categorically and explicitly tell you, Ryan that guest blogging is the coolest recipes for blogging greatness. I know this because I have experienced it’s power and effectiveness first-hand. It’s cool!

But those initial stages can be very daunting and it’s the most important stage, it is what usually set the tone for your greatness in this method of pulling back-links, targeted traffic and getting known as a blogger who knows their onions well.

Yes, you will get a lot of rejections but you musn’t let it beset you one bit. To tell you what Ryan, unlike you I know because I still get loads of rejections on my guest post campaign, mostly because some bloggers don’t love the idea of mentioning more than two links in the body of the text.

I research my topics and I present my own ideas of lessons learned in weeks and months of practice and it is only necessary as it is important to cite my sources, right? It becomes rude and my problem too if I would use these many resources and not be willing to cite them. What do you think about this Ryan?

Well, this has been the only setback for me in recent time.

And that is not to say I don’t get published often, of sure, I do publish guest posts and that too on quality and top class blogs on the web.

I believe it would be really cool to get a copy and really consume your book on this subject matter.

Thanks for taking the time to write it, I am sure many people will found it valuable and helpful. ๐Ÿ™‚

  5. Hi Kunal,

Build friendships with bloggers. Don’t go in cold, aka, as a stranger pitching ideas. Comment on top blogs from the Android and Google niches. Help bloggers. Assist them. Make friends. Then they will ask you to guest post ๐Ÿ˜‰ Getting invited to guest post is much easier than pitching folks.

    Ryan

  6. Actually Rich methinks that the sample is available on Amazon itself ๐Ÿ˜‰ Just roll over that cover and enjoy!

    Ryan

  7. Rich Amor Says:

I’d love to read a sample chapter of your book. LoL

  8. kunal Says:

IMO, guest blogging is helpful for niche blog. I have a blog on Android and Google and guest blogging in the category is so hard these days. As there are so many blogs on the topic and everyone simply rejects the proposal, ultimately leaving no scope.

After rigorous trying, I gave up. Because sometimes, this category requires a lot of research and also the contents are lengthy.

  9. Amen to that Elizabeth!

    Ryan

  10. Cool Ravi. Thanks so much for commenting ๐Ÿ™‚

Can’t wait to read this ebook Ryan! I love guest blogging. It’s such a great way to not only get email subscribers, but to connect with like-minded people in our industry.

  12. Hey Ryan,

I think no one can understand it better than you to land guest posts on authority blogs. I guess you eBook is based on this topic very informative to learn very well about the landing guest posts on authority blogs.

I agree with you the Guest Post is only the best way to increase blog traffic and your income. It is because of you get a chance to engage with other’s site visitors by landing a guest post on it. Many times the fear of rejection do not let you move forward that is the biggest mistake we do.

It will be great if you learned to win the fear of landing a guest posts on authority blogs.
    Thanks Ryan.
    – Ravi.

  13. Hi JD,

As for getting guest posts for your site I’d build your blog into a resource on carpet cleaning. If you solve common problems in that niche you can build your rep and then other bloggers will want to post on your site. And yes, guest posting on other sites will increase your exposure and result in more folks wanting to guest post on your site. Which is where the eBook will help ya ๐Ÿ˜‰

As for sexiness, it has zero bearing on whether or not you can get guest posts. That just depends on if you solve problems for your ideal reader. Do that and your blog will grow, as will requests to place guesties on your blog.

Note; we do not allow keyword stuffing aka keywords being used for your name. So I shall name thee JD; John Doe. Or Jane Doe ๐Ÿ˜‰

    Thanks for commenting ๐Ÿ™‚

    Ryan

  14. JD Says:

Hi I have a carpet cleaner site and someone said put a blog section on it as it will help with ranking however how would you go about getting guest post for a carpet cleaning site I mean the topic is not like entrepreneur or a sexy topic its carpet cleaningv..would live your advice.

  15. Donna that is awesome ๐Ÿ˜‰ Much appreciated that you are already spreading the word on this, via LinkedIn and other networks.

Joe Blow comes in cold and fails 99 percent of the time to land guesties but folks who build friendships can guest post on demand.

    Thanks much!

    Ryan

  16. Hi Ryan,

I am so happy that you wrote this book. I get many people trying to do guest posts on my blog that I’ve never even met on social media, never mind one stinking comment on my blog! People really need to know a proper way to land a guest post and I know you are a great teacher for them.

Now every time Jo Blow asks me to do a guest post, I can refer him to your book! How nice it is to be able to give people a “road map” of how to go about things.

    Thanks!
    -Donna

  17. Thanks Sidd!

    Ryan

  18. This is what I was really looking on about Landing page. Very nice information

  19. Susan you are doing fabulous! Both from a guest posting and blog commenting perspective. Keep up the inspired work and hey, thank you ๐Ÿ™‚

    Ryan

  20. Susan Velez Says:

    Hey Ryan,

I actually started guest posting because of you. I agree the fear of rejection can definitely stop so many people from reaching out. Fear almost stopped me from starting guest posting.

While I haven’t done nearly as many as you, you’re everywhere I look. I know that this book will help so many people get involved with guest posting. If anyone knows how to land guest posts, it’s definitely you.

Blogging on a regular basis and not getting any traffic is hard. While I am now starting to see traffic on a more consistent basis, it definitely takes time to build up.

I can see how guest posting would help a blogger build a community a lot faster. Especially, if you’re guest posting on top blogs.

I know this ebook will help so many people up their game and overcome their fears of reaching out for guest posts.

Thanks for sharing, have a great day ๐Ÿ™‚

    Susan

  21. Blog commenting will help T. Google to find blogs about grieving. Leave comments on these sites. This is one way to drive traffic.

Actually, when you begin guest posting on grieving-related blogs you will drive a bunch more traffic to your blog because you will expose your name and work to thousands of new readers who visit and read these established blogs ๐Ÿ˜‰

    Ryan

  22. It depends on the nofollow dollow thing Prateek. If links are dofollow ya get some juice ๐Ÿ˜‰

    Ryan

  23. Prateek Says:

Hey Ryan, I don’t think guest posting doesn’t work to rank your blog high on search engines. It is certainly useful for increasing audience reach.

  24. Ryan,
The frustration is real about traffic flow to my site. I do know that I have to be patient and let the things happen as they come. I know this has nothing to do with guest posting, but I do see how some new bloggers would just give up. I m not letting that stop me. I was born to write. It just took me 20 + years lol

    Appreciate you brother
    Tom

  25. Thank you Anthony!

    Ryan

  26. Hey Ryan! This is great information and something everyone needs to read. Gaining access to authority blogs via a guest is a struggle from my perspective as I am sure with anyone that is trying teach their baby blog to crawl and ultimately start running as quickly as possible! Always with the best and most raw info! Thanks again for sharing!

  27. Yep T, patience is a virtue. An incredibly virtue. Keep digging deeper, keep telling those real, honest, authentic stories and you will attract more readers to your blog who vibe with your message. Signed up for your email list. Looking forward to new updates. Thanks a bunch and enjoy your day!

    Ryan

  28. Oh darn Ana, actually, no can do. Only because if any copies are circulating out there outside of Amazon Kindle, with all the hackers and dingbats LOL, if someone grabs ahold of it and distributes the eBook Amazon can shut down my author account since I am only allowed to sell it on there. Sorry about that ๐Ÿ˜‰ Have a great weekend!

    Ryan

  29. Ana Pรกscoa Says:

    Hello Ryan Biddulph,
I tried to buy your ebook on Amazon, but it was not possible, they only sell with a credit card. I only work with Paypal.
Send me your paypal email I pay you then send me the ebook.
At the moment it’s the best I can do.
    Wishes for a great weekend.

  30. Ryan,
In regards to traffic on my blog not so much the guest posting. I have to be more patient with it. The traffic and comments will come. I do have the frustration you talk about though with the lack of what I’m looking for. My wife made a god point. What I’m writing about may be hard for some people to read since it may be bring up feelings others may not want to have surface. I get that, but I want those people to read it. Those are the ones I want to reach and help. Patience is key. It will come in due time. Trust the universe!!

Appreciate you brother. Enjoy your day
    Tom
