Blogging is simple.

But blogging is highly uncomfortable at times.

Fears triggered in your mind create intense discomfort. Rather than facing, feeling and letting go the fear and discomfort most bloggers quit sooner than latter.

Blogger often give up on blogging at the drop of a hat.

I myself faced some stiff resistance during a 15 year blogging journey. The ego told me to throw in the towel more than once during my blogging career. But I never gave up.

Facing the tiniest bit of resistance scares most bloggers into giving up temporarily. Observe how bloggers surrender at the smallest blogging obstacles. Writer’s block cripples bloggers. Bloggers put blogging on hold because some imagined resistance scares them way too far outside of their comfort zone. How do you expect to succeed if you sprint away from success? How do you expect to free yourself if you give up the moment you face a little mental block?

No blogger goes pro by giving up on blogging quickly, easily and way too fast. Do not be quick to give up on blogging.

Blogging commits to bloggers who commit to blogging.

Bloggers commit to blogging. Bloggers go all in. Do not quit so easily. Do not quit so fast. Commit to blogging. Take your time to work your way through mental blocks. We all face resistance. I have blogged for 15 years. Yet here I am after a long day, writing this post. I love blogging. But I feel a bit uncomfortable now. Again; this is the type of commitment required to be a professional blogger and to keep growing consistently.

Being all in demands that you blog mainly for fun and freedom because fun-loving bloggers who enjoy being free make uncomfortable decisions to blog through thick and thin. Blogging for fun inspires you to make scary, uncomfortable decisions. Blogging mainly for fun prevents you from quitting blogging for the dreaded money reason.

Imagine blogging mainly to make money. What happens if you do not make a dime after 3 months? You quit. Why delude yourself into believing you can prosper before putting in work to develop skills, exposure and credibility enough to succeed online?

Ground yourself in reality. Good things require time, generous effort, patience and persistence. You better love blogging for blogging’s sake because it will be a while before money rolls in. No one succeeds until earning the right to succeed. Earning the right to succeed involves crazy amounts of effort, patience and persistence. Most bloggers give up before earning the right to succeed. But if you see the blogging journey through you can experience a life of fun, freedom and expansion you never knew, as you become a professional blogger.

Think about freedom every time you face fear. I still face blogging resistance sometimes. But stepping into fear always dissolves imagined resistance. All resistance is imagined because everything is in your mind. Obstacles do not exist because obstacles are projected from the mind onto time and space.

Commit to blogging. Be all in. Put in the time, effort and energy. Pick a freeing reason why you blog. Dive into this reason. Feel it. Taste it. Touch it. Smell it. Focusing heavily on the reason why you blog reveals your driver. Picking a freeing driver goads you to overcome any fears seemingly making your blogging commitment shaky.

Blogging weeds out impatient bloggers. Blogging culls bloggers who lack persistence. Do not give up quickly. Do not quit easily.

Freedom awaits you but being patient is the bridge to freedom.

Enjoy blogging now. Have fun blogging now. Focus heavily on the blogging process. Give little thought to traffic stats. Devote even less thought to blogging income metrics. The traffic and money arrive after you put in the blogging work for a long time.

Do not quit before that long time expires.

Do not give up before you put in work to lay a granite-like foundation for your blogging campaign.

Do not be quick to give up on blogging.

    Hi Ryan,
I agree. Bloggers must commit to giving their energies to blogging. You get out what you put in.

Amen Janice. Putting in the time and work yields awesome results over the long haul. Of course, most bloggers give up way too quickly and never see success. We need to love this gig in order to see it through for years. Sometimes, blogging feels challenging. But as you know, simply seeing it through by sticking to the basics makes all the difference in the world. Publish helpful content. Build bonds. Drive targeted traffic. Monetize. Bloggers quit before they even give themselves a chance to succeed. The key is to blog for fun and freedom, to be passionate about blogging. Holding these drivers goads bloggers through fear, spurring them on to greater success.
