Most bloggers go about it all wrong.

They struggle like hell trying to drive massive traffic to a single blog post.

When they should be doing something else.

    Hi Ryan,

You’ve certainly achieved “being everywhere” – in your blogging and in your travelling.

It’s not just a skill, it’s hard work and persistence. I know I’m a little too thinly spread offline, but I’m working on it all. Had some great ideas from you, thanks.

  3. Promotion does help spread the word AM. For both a viral post and viral online presence. I also find creating in many areas without thinking to much about promoting enhances the viral presence effect too.

  4. A viral post isn’t a must for niche bloggers but for those into entertainment industries. But getting a good post online is equivalent to gaining online presence. It all depends on the promotional practice

  5. Very well said Prosperity. In truth, folks who land viral stuff regularly – Neil Patel, etc – worked for years to be all over, to establish a viral online presence first.

  6. The concept is… If you are a blogger that regularly makes viral post then the truth is you are already enjoying a viral online presence. Great one my friend!

  7. Excellent Sara, excellent. Viral help. That term is one for the books. Well said; if you help folks via a bunch of online channels, where your readers hang out, success is yours. Thanks for the smart comment.

  9. E Jey Says:

    Hey Ryan,
The concept is interesting and I believe it is much important to establish an authority online. I am doing this travel blog called Jaunt Monkey for the last one and a half year and I am very serious about the blog. Hope you could help me with your suggestions like the one that you shared here.

By the way, I love your blog’s name – Blogging From Paradise.

  10. Sara Says:

Ryan, totally agree about most bloggers go for the “holy grail” of viral posts. When you think about it, the rush of traffic is very very short lived. You can try to capitalize on it at the time but just like “15-minutes” of fame, you’ll fade into the background and someone else will get the viral attention.

Viral presence along with viral “help” is far more sustainable.

  11. Vincent this comment is perfect. Thanks bro; well said 🙂

  12. Hi Ryan,

I totally agree with you. Viral online presence is something we should consider doing as long as we can. We always gain a lot in spreading our presence online.
As an example, I found out about one of your tip on taking notes by reading your comment on Problogger.com.Thank you for that tip.
That said, I know it isn’t that easy to go viral in terms of online presence. The only way I see to make it happen is hard work.
And your concept blogging for fun makes that hard work easy.

When we love what we do, we don’t count hours or the effort we put in. We just do it because love doing it.

    Thanks for sharing

  13. Shantanu you said it buddy. We cannot create in a vacuum. Gotta get out there and develop a real online presence.

  14. Hello Ryan,

    Great shout over here 🙂

Indeed its very imporatnt for us to create our presesence in the online world. Doesn’t matter how much skill we are, all our
hard work goes in vain, until we create our social presence among the people we want to target.

I am bookmarking this podcast, so that I can enjoy this later this evening.

    Thanks for the share.

    Shantanu.

  15. Good deal Shiv. Glad you enjoyed and thanks for the comment.

  16. Shiv Says:

Viral post viral online presence is a fantastic strategy. There are many of us who fail to maintain a social presence online hence they failed to get readers attention.

There are many blogger who don’t worry about social presence but they are really lacking this skill and should work on it.

    Thanks for sharing. Ryan! 🙂
