6 Things Your Blog Needs Today

Something’s missing.

But you have no clue in hell what it is.

Ya see; things have kinda clicked on your blog. Maybe you see some success.

Or perhaps you are failing horribly.

Or maybe you are killing it. In a good way. Success is yours, and all seems to be going all ducky in some regards but you still feel like something is missing with your blog.

A piece of the puzzle is not there.

If you found that piece, and plugged it in, everything would pop with your blog.

Success in the form of blogging traffic and profits would flow to you steadily.

You’d feel inspired. Amazing. Fulfilled.

I have co-created an audiobook to help you identify 6 of the things your blog needs right now.

The seeming missing pieces of the puzzle. Or if you are succeeding, and have checked all marks in regards to these 6 elements, hearing of them in audio book form gives you greater confidence and clarity in your blogging direction.

Benefits of Buying the Audiobook

It’s really kinda simple.

Either your blog contains these 6 things and you are rocking it out or your blog contains these 6 things and you are well on your way to rocking it out.

Or you are missing 1 or all 6 of these blogging elements.

Listening to this audiobook:

  • gives you confidence and clarity in your blogging direction if you got da motts aka have these things on your blog
  • alerts you to stuff you are missing so you can right your blogging ship and feel better about your blogging present and future
  • stops frustrating, wheel-spinning ways that can drive you blogging mad
  • takes the guess work out of blogging

At the end of the day, nothing feels more frustrating than having no clue in hell if what you’re doing is or is not working, blogging-wise.

Nothing feels better than knowing you are on the straight and narrow toward building a successful blog because you are following proven strategies used by blogging big dawgs to live your dreams through blogging.

The Fundamentals Never Change

Say what ya want, but the blogging fundamentals never change.

Vehicles for delivering your message may change. What was once a recorded Vimeo video has now morphed into live broadcasts on Periscope and Facebook.

Self-hosted audio files shared through your blog became podcasts blasted into cyber space through iTunes.

The channels change but the blogging fundamentals stay the same.

Listening to this audiobook re-introduces you to this refreshing concept. The 6 things discussed by the narrator are simply the fundamentals, re-visited, that contain the keys to building a successful blog.

Me by the Persian Gulf in Doha Qatar

Most bloggers crave flashiness. Sizzle in their cyber steak. But these lost blogging souls eventually realize that unless you serve a meaty, juicy steak, that the sizzle don’t mean shit.

These 6 things are the meaty, juicy, ample, delicious steak that everybody (sans vegetarians) want.

If you are vegetarian, imagine the most satiating medley of tempeh or tofu with a rich collection of vegetables (included if my wife is reading).

We’re talking the meat – or fake meat – of the matter here.

Cover Story

I snapped that dazzling cover image for the audiobook from the back porch aka dock aka deck in Koh Lanta, Thailand.

Kelli and I rented a home on the bay for a month.

We enjoyed some of the most stunning sunrises at about 5 AM every single day in this location.

I had to get my ass up early for these photos.

This was a low-tide shot; peep the traditional Thai longtail boat in the snap.

  1. Hello Ryan,

It’s amazing to know that even if there’s a piece of the puzzle that’s missing in my blog, once that is found and plugged in, everything starts working out perfectly and success begins to flow steadily in the form of blogging traffic and profits to my blog. Thanks for the words of courage. It really boosts my morale and keeps me on track to continue.

Even if only that I’m going to get confidence and clarity in my blogging direction and guess work is going to be taken out of my blogging activities, then buying audio book is worth it though I would be getting the eBook rather since I love reading eBooks more than listening to audio. Thanks for the mentoring!

  2. Right Moss? I converted a few to Amazon. OK about 30 😉 But hearing an audio book creates an intimate experience. Some folks prefer to listen versus reading, for sure.

  3. Thanks so much 🙂

    Hi Ryan,

Great article and an eye opener for many who rely solely on text content. There are amazing benefits of audio content. It gives you feeling you can never imagine.

It’s more like you face-to-face having direct contact with the person or the podcaster, as well as video content.

Keep up the good work Ryan.

  6. Excellent Rohan. Audio books are gaining traction for sure. Do enjoy it and thanks much 🙂

  9. Hi Ryan
It is an excellent idea to have an audio book.
Now I can learn blogging tips on the way to home also.

  10. Hi Darleen, Way cool. More folks are going audio these days. I like mixing up eBooks and audio books although I’ve a few more audio books to co-create; only 40 or 50 of my eBooks have been converted to audio so far. Those 5 AM sunsets were amazing. Even if I felt tired I had to wake up early to capture their brilliance. Happy New Year and thanks for the comment!

  11. Hi there Ryan,

This post really opened my eyes towards audiobooks and podcasts. Today people, myself included tending to learn and watch videos more than reading.

I am so fascinated by your storytelling skills. Especially how you made the Cover part and I am happy that you enjoyed the sunsets at 5 am. I am a morning person and I like them too. Till the next post, Happy New Year!

    Greetings,

    Darleen.
