Do you want to live vicariously through me?
Or maybe you wish to add a few locations to your bucket list?
My wife Kelli and I have circled the globe for a decade. We have spent a fair chunk of time in the States the prior 3 years but changed time zones like most folks change their minds, for a handful of years.
Let us take a blogging break today. Becoming a successful blogger demands you relax, detach from blogging and enjoy other aspects of life.
I want to share 20 eye popping photos from my world travels with you.
- I used no filter for these photos; everything is natural/organic/as is
- Kelli and I snapped most of these suckers with a Cannon SX700 HS
- I am a traveler and at times, travel blogger but my camera game is little; God took over on these shots
1: Mount Cook South Island New Zealand
Kelli snapped this candid shot as I took off with Gimli, Legolas and the crew to protect Frodo as he carried The Ring.
2: High Peaks Wilderness Region Blueberry Cobbles Trail New Russia New York
I got this sucker just as the sun peaked through. Yes; New York is a little more than New York City.
3: Bay of Plenty Opotiki New Zealand
Kelli has quite the eye. Some say, she has 2.
4: Squirrel Monkeys Quepos Costa Rica
Eating bananas on your porch may or may not attract a troop of squirrel monkeys.
5: Nagigi Beach, Vanua Levu, Fiji
Remember guys; no filter. Looks even better in person.
6: Ryan Biddulph, Old Town, Koh Lanta, Thailand
I had been hitting the weights a bit around the corner. Gotta beef up the V-Taper.
7: Freedom Tower New York City
I snapped just after dusk.
8: Toucan, Bribri, Costa Rica
He left the cereal box for a solo snap in the jungle.
9: Howler Monkey, Mombacho, Nicaragua
10: Ortahisar, Cappadocia, Turkey
Locals told us the buildings in town are 7,000 years old….or older. Troglodytes.
11: Building, Paphos, Cyprus
Kelli snapped this photo from the Tomb of the Kings. Note the distorting heat waves. 105 F that day.
12: Mirage, Nizwa, Oman
We drove into the pond a few moments later.
13: Dust Storm, Doha, Qatar
A dust storm blew through the day after we arrived.
14: Kovalam Beach, Kerala, India
We enjoyed the peace, quiet, serenity and many colors of Kerala.
15: Dust, Mask, Kathmandu, Nepal
Construction in the area meant dust, and masks.
16: Fisherman, Inle Lake, Myanmar
The fishermen on Inle Lake defy physics with their balancing act.
17: Lake Pukaki, South Island, New Zealand
I could *easily* share 20 eye popping images from New Zealand alone.
18: Rawai Bay, Phuket, Thailand
A 5 minute motorbike ride from where we stay in Phuket.
19: Ryan Biddulph, Pandawa Beach, Bali
10 minute motorbike ride from where we did a 6 month house sit.
20: Sunset, Opotiki, New Zealand
Again guys; no filter.
