Few talk about how sharing content published by fellow bloggers makes you look:
- credible
- smart
- trustworthy
in the eyes of your blogging community.
Everyone knows being generous builds your blogger buddy network. Few stress how promoting other bloggers who publish helpful content actually boosts your credibility in the process. Any time I share content beneficial for my readers the share increases my credibility. Not all content needs to be my own for my readers to benefit from the content. On a deeper level, close observation reveals that Facebook gives more exposure to content published by my blogging buddies that I share on Facebook. Personal experience dictates how sharing content other than my own quite frequently increases my Likes, Shares and comments for that piece of content.
Stop trying to do everything by yourself. Build a large friend network to expand your reach, to increase your credibility and to make life easier. Imagine how good it would feel to
- read a helpful blog post
- share the post through Facebook
- increase your blogging credibility without needing to personally create and publish content for the credibility boost
Dwell on this concept. Run the idea through your mind. Surrender the need to do all on your own. Blogging is not all about you gaining trust through content you published. Smart blogging is sharing fellow blogger’s content frequently to both build your network and boost your credibility without needing to write and publish blog posts by your own steam. Micro-managers burn out, fail and quit. Leverage-minded bloggers thrive as success momentum grows for these intelligent individuals.
I mention Mike Allton in the video below. He also interviewed me once to share my blogging experience with his audience. Anytime either one of us promotes the blog post we both gain credibility based on the creation. We co-created to help our communities. Any time he promotes a Blogging From Paradise post resonant with his ideals he increases his blogging cred without having to create the content. Any time I promote one of his blog posts I boost my credibility without having to create the content.
For most bloggers, surrendering to this idea feels uncomfortable for exploring the concepts of release and trust. Releasing control feels scary. Trusting in the content other bloggers publish to boost your credibility also feels scary. However, if you intend to leverage your presence exponentially you better promote fellow bloggers persistently. No one does everything on their own. Nobody reaches the highest blogging circles solely based on their own steam.

Promoting bloggers through:
- social media
- your blog
- your guest posts
adds credibility to your blog, brand and business. Reading a blog post and tapping a retweet button consumes a few minutes of your time but the credibility return is immense.
Of course, only promote blog content resonant with your:
- principles
- fundamentals
- vision
- brand
- blog
- business
to increase credibility from a clear energy. Promote bloggers you vibe with to increase credibility in the eyes of your audience. Seek resonance above all else. Focus on harmony. Credibility grows based on your clarity, not by promoting content non-resonant with your blog, brand and vision. If bloggers publish posts diving into how to get rich quickly I would not boost my credibility by promoting their content. I would hurt my credibility in the eyes of my readers because I teach how to free yourself by succeeding from a generous, patient, persistent, long-term approach.

I recorded a video a while back to discuss this concept.
